ScandicData sells exclusively to business entities (B2B). The 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applicable to private consumers under EU Directive 2011/83/EU does not apply to commercial purchases. Returns are not accepted on the basis of a change of mind, change of business requirements, or any reason other than a confirmed product defect as described in Section 2 below.
If you receive a faulty gateway or sensor, you are protected under ScandicData's 1-year commercial warranty. Contact us at post@scandicdata.no as soon as the defect is discovered, providing a written description of the issue and available supporting evidence (photographs, error logs, or similar). Upon technical confirmation of a manufacturing defect, we will arrange a free repair, replacement, or full refund at our discretion, and we will cover the documented return shipping costs.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, accidental damage, or any unauthorised modification to the device's firmware, pre-configured network settings, or embedded software. Full warranty terms and void conditions are set out in the B2B General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Section 5.
Cloud monitoring subscriptions (SaaS) are non-refundable once the service has been activated. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing. No prorated refunds are issued for any unused portion of a billing cycle already paid. Access to the platform continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
For approved defective goods claims under the commercial warranty, we process refunds without undue delay following confirmation of the accepted claim and receipt of the returned hardware (or verified proof of dispatch). Reimbursement is always made using the same payment method as the original transaction, at no additional cost to the Buyer.
